When to Choose Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures

If you’re ready to make subtle changes to your face by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, scars, or hair loss, a non-surgical procedure is a good choice. If you want to look like yourself, but with more facial fullness, lip volume, or less hair, we offer several treatments that can help you achieve results without going under the knife.

When to Opt for a Surgical Cosmetic Procedure

Non-invasive procedures can offer long-lasting results, but not all of them are permanent. If you want permanent solutions that restore the appearance of youth, a surgical cosmetic procedure is a better choice. Some asymmetry cannot be corrected with fillers, and instead, requires more invasive treatment such as rhinoplasty or a facelift. If you want to discuss your options, contact Barr Aesthetics today so we can determine whether you’re a candidate for non-surgical or surgical treatments.

How to Prepare for Non-Invasive Procedures

Depending on the procedure, there are a few things you can do to prepare for non-surgical procedures.
  • Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications
  • Avoid eating salty foods
  • Don’t remove hair via tweezing or waxing at the procedure site
  • Reduce alcohol intake
Specific instructions will be given to you before your procedure to make the experience as smooth as possible.
