Dysport Injections

What is Dysport?

In 2010, Medicis introduced Dysport™ to the aesthetic market. Dysport works like Botox®, and like Botox, Dysport is FDA-approved for the treatment of frown lines in the forehead and brow area.

Dysport is a natural, purified protein that works to prevent nerve impulses from reaching targeted muscles. As a form of botulinum toxin, it’s injected under the skin to prevent muscle contraction. With the muscles relaxed, you enjoy smoother skin. Dysport is a quick and safe procedure that smooths lines between your eyebrows, on your forehead, and around your eyes.

Who’s a Good Candidate for Dysport?

Dysport injections are for both men and women who want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Visit Barr Aesthetics today for a consultation to discuss the areas you want to address, and how Dysport can get the results you want.

Dysport Procedures in Salt Lake City

Enjoy the same wrinkle-reducing results as Botox while saving on the cost per unit. Opting for Dysport doesn’t compromise quality when it comes to addressing lines around the eyes, mouth, forehead, and nasolabial folds.

Here’s what we can treat with Dysport:

Dynamic Wrinkles (Mimic Lines) – these lines and wrinkles are caused by repetitive facial movements, such as smiling or raising eyebrows, and result in set folds in the face.

Static Wrinkles (Gravitational Folds) – these lines and wrinkles are caused as a result of a loss of facial elasticity, which allows gravity to pull the skin down.

Dysport injections from Barr Aesthetics can address both of these types of wrinkles, targeting specific injection areas including:

  • Forehead and Brow: Address the horizontal pleats of the forehead that are caused by raising your eyebrows.
  • Glabellar and Frown Lines (the 11s): Soften the lines between the eyebrows.
  • Crow’s Feet: Reduce the appearance of these fine lines that form at the outside corners of the eyes.
  • Bunny Lines: These are the wrinkles that form around the nose when it’s scrunched up.
  • Lipstick Lines: Dysport can soften the fine lines above the lips that appear when lips are pursed.
  • Marionette and Purse String Wrinkles: As nasolabial folds deepen, strong creases can appear laterally around the mouth and nose.

You should see full results in the week following your injection(s), which can last up to four months.
