While Juvéderm® XC is intended for treating wrinkles and other surface level facial conditions,Juvéderm Voluma® XC was designed to address deeper facial tissue conditions. Most specifically, issues like tissue volume and density around the mouth.

Over time, certain facial features like the cheeks and lips can become less dense developing a thinner appearance. Juvéderm Voluma® XC is an injectable gel filler that can instantly restore volume to facial features that have suffered loss due to age related causes. This is considered a non-surgical injectable procedure which can be completed during a brief office visit. Juvéderm Voluma® XC also contains lidocaine, which aids in reducing the discomfort that can sometimes be associated with injectable procedures. While results will vary per patient, under ideal conditions, the affects of Juvéderm Voluma® XC should be visible immediately and can potentially last for up to 2 years.
